![]() So upon doing some testing on the switch it seems that the random seed is also affected by the farm type as well. I find it to be a really, really good seed, giving you a nice big boost right at the beginning of the game. I had this happen in a game totally randomly, and only later did I realize about the world seed. If you plant a 5x5 group of crops for example, it will hit them all only if the fairy hits the center square. Playing around with it, I found that the crop fairy hits my crops most of the time, but not every single time, and it doesn't always hit all the crops. If it *is* a crop, all plants in a 5x5 square around that crop will be advanced to maturity. This world seed seems to always get the crop fairy event to trigger, but that doesn't mean you'll always see the fairy! When the event triggers, it selects up to 100 terrain squares in order and checks if they contain a crop (not a wild seed). You can plant cauliflower and get some pretty sweet profit too!īe aware of how the crop fairy works though. You can grow some fully realized green beans right away (for 8 total crops that spring!) which gives you some reliable food to munch on for energy. Your farming skill is almost certainly going to advance right away. There are a lot of good potential uses for the crop fairy that can give you a big boost. ![]() This is great for strawberries as it gives them an extra crop if they're planted on the 13th (you can get the speed-gro in time for the strawberries even if you don't do this, but it's much harder because you have to complete the bundle that night after the egg festival and then get things planted before going to bed). There are lots of really interesting uses for this, but I feel that the best is to gain early completion of the Spring Crops bundle in the Community Center and then you've got 20 speed-gro to play with. The Big Advantage: crop fairy event on the *first* sleep. ![]() Here's a potentially very good one: 270192222 Interested to know if anyone has found a better seed so far.
